The Toshiba Regza 32RV665DB 32” LCD TV is a decent mix of simplicity and efficiency. The best option for those of looking for a no-frills TV that doesn't compromise on the picture quality, the 32RV665DB seems to be wearing an eternal smile of self satisfaction! Well, it deserves to be self-satisfied, who doesn't, after a hard day's work! The LCD TV has a Full HD 1080p resolution and a quoted dynamic contrast ratio of 50000:1 which does reflect on the screen. Toshiba has given this TV a tasteful design, with sharp angles a and smooth black finish that defines elegance.
Having thrown in all its elements in to this beauty, Toshiba is at its best with the 32RV665DB. One of my favourites is the Game mode. This setting with gives you a gaming environment like never before, with enhanced colours and contrast, you have to see it to believe it. This LCD TV comes with a standard aerial that can receive free-to-view digital broadcasts without the necessity of any additional set up. The Toshiba Regza 32RV665DB HD-Ready LCD TV does full justice to HD sources. Distinctly crisp and clean-cut, movies in the 32” screens are a pleasure indeed.
The 32RV665DB has 4 HDMIs, a USB port and a PC input apart from the usual options, lending it well-connected. Only when you get to motion handling, you get to see this 32 incher in bad light. It struggles considerably to rid itself of the fuzziness that arises from speedy chases and quick movements. The Resolution+ feature that claims to boost SD pictures to near high definition acts like a mere mirage – it's appears to function, but in the end vanishes without a trace.
Verdict:
The Toshiba Regza 32RV665DB is not that ultimate piece of high definition entertainment. It tries though, in fact a lot to please. For that, it does deserve to be considered.
