Toshiba has announced their latest LCD line-ups of late, and has claimed as the “largest and most advanced yet” from the organisation!! Toshiba is planning to offer multi faced treat for the users with the low-end non-Regza models and the advanced Regza versions. Toshiba’s line-ups in the non-Regza Category includes AV600 Series and AV502 Series. The specialty of the Regza new comers is the MetaBrain technology that has a beneficial role in the picture quality improvisation. Toshiba’s flagship display series, Regza is expanded with a new set of line-ups that too smart models with fully-loaded features and MetaBrain technology. The television series like SV Series, ZV Series, RV series and XV series sports MetaBrain that handles the video input signal adeptly and renders unsurpassed images. These televisions are expected to be launched by April 2009.
Toshiba AV600 Series
AV600 Series is the 720p low budget television among the latest models from Toshiba. Available in two different screen sizes of 19” and 22”, these televisions have glossy black elegant furnish and the cosmetic design. This is a good choice as the first digital television and perhaps the best for people intending to change their old analogue sets to digital televisions. With all basic features of a digital television, it comes with Dynalight dynamic backlight control that helps to reproduce excellent black levels. Toshiba Regza SV670 Series
These displays are the state of art series from Toshiba “about to launch” category. FocaLight LED backlight settings is the major highlight of this display that helps to render exceptionally brilliant black levels and fresh colours to make the images lifelike and natural. Local dimming is also incorporated in the backlight system which adds to the quality of the output picture by rendering higher contrast ratios. Full LED matrix are the advantages of the FocaLight backlight system, which also provides uniform brightness. In this television Toshiba has incorporated the Deep Lagoon Process too. Anti-reflective glass used in the display helps to reduce the image damage or blurs due to the reflection of ambient lighting conditions. These televisions are available only in 46” and 55”. This is Toshiba’s first venture in LED backlit LCD televisions.
