Ive reserved on buying LCDs, as Pic is not fab while watching SD compared to CRT. This 19″ Teac, the Pic Quality is rubbish. It looked ok in the shop. When i bought it home, connected Sky box via Scart (RGB mode) the picture is awful. Its a Shame that the build quailty is cool compared to most well known brands. I normally watch Standard Def via my 32″ trintion CRT. Pic on SD is fantastic
I also connected my PC via VGA, even that, the resolution is crap & dull compared to a 4:3 LCD Samsung monitor that i had been using for PC. im really unhappy with this, i wasted my money. The built quality is great compared to other well known brands in that size.
Just bought this TV (3 weeks ago). I’m just using it to watch Freeview using built-in digital tuner. Picture quality is good. This is a high quality piece of kit. Beware of reviewers who moan about picture quality - they probably don’t have the picture adjusted properly. Sound quality is not great - small speakers I suspect.
got the teac t19 as a xmas present and using as a second tv from my sky box but can’t get sky remote to work does anyone no theset up code for this tv to key in the remote.
