Sony KDL-52Z5500 LCD TV

Sony KDL-52Z5500 LCD TV-lcdtvreviews.org.ukA pleasurable television viewing experience is not just about clear picture and high-quality audio. When one settles down in a cushy couch with the TV remote after a long day’s work, the TV should actually make the viewer forget all the rough events of the day and transform him to another world where things are as supple, as pleasant, as perfect as they can get. And does the Sony KDL-52Z5500 52” LCD TV do that? That’s a matter to be considered.

The Sony KDL-52Z5500 Full HD LCD TV features a good set to pros that appears to outweigh its cons. For instance, it has a Motionflow 200Hz engine, which renders fast-paced action right out of the stove – steaming hot, that’s what I’m talking about. This Sony LCD TV expertly manages to capture every bit of all the action, something that most of us look for in a TV. It has a 1920 x 1080 pixel display resolution, so HD picture can be viewed with utmost clarity and detail. Coming to the colour details, another feather on the KDL-52Z5500’s cap is the faithful colour reproduction. Black levels – do I have to mention that they are deep with no greying effect?

And yes, the picture frame mode. The Sony KDL-52Z5500 has this too. For those of you who are wondering what this is, this feature lets you display your digital photos in the screens of this LCD Television when you’re not watching, making it resemble an actual picture frame. The design – well, it’s efficiently done with clean, sharp cuts. The contrast ratio is quoted to be 100000:1, and Sony’s 24p True Cinema and USB Photo Viewer are also present in the KDL-52Z5500. On the negative side, I really can’t find any. Audio is effective, and voices sound well-rounded. In one word: Rocking!
