This Sony Bravia KDL-40WE5 LCD TV consumes half the energy used by that of an average 40 inch television. And hence, you won’t get a shock when you receive your electricity bill. There is a presumption that if you use all the eco friendly features of the TV, the pictures might appear a bit dull. But if you switch off the light sensor and power saving option you can get clarity as that of Sony 46W5500 LCD TV. Like many of the other LCD TV’s, the only downside is that the picture loses lot of its colour and contrast when viewed from much of an angle.
