Sharp Aquos LC32SH7EBK LCD TV

sharp-lc32sh7ebk LCD TVs from Sharp are indeed sharp, and more importantly, they are affordable, unlike Sony and Philips. The design of the Sharp Aquos LC32SH7EBK 32” LCD TV is so unlike Sharp. (I even considered studying the logo under a magnifying glass to make sure it is really from Sharp!) This TV looks plain. Yes, that's the hard truth. Bathed in nothing but black, the LC32SH7EBK has a smooth black finish with a lower edge that curves in slightly. And the effect for some could be a bit boring. Fine, lets see what the TV has to offer in terms of performance. Freeview quality is the first aspect that impresses us readily. Clear as they are, you just cannot tear your eyes from the channels. As far as figures are concerned, the Sharp Aquos LC32SH7EBK HD Ready LCD TV quotes a dynamic contrast ratio of 8,0001:1 and a 450 cd/m2 of brightness. The resolution of this 32 incher is stated as about 1366x768 pixels and the picture quality is pretty good, considering the price. This Sharp LCD TV has a lot of limitations when it comes to the connectivity. HDMIs to start off with are just two in number, which is a big blow considering the likes of Sony and Samsung that offer up to 4. Undeterred, we plugged in our Blu-Ray layer in hope for something better. We were treated to some solid entertainment, of smooth action, seamless movements, crisp pictures and lush colours. But the package was not without its own set of downfalls. Fast action sequences give off some fuzziness around the edges,  but the darker scenes were decent, if not superb.
