With Samsung, it has always been a pleasant journey. Whether it's a small-screen TV that does not have anything fancy or a 55" LED TV with a good lot of picture enhancing features, Samsung exceeds expectations. The Samsung LE32C530 32" LCD TV is no exception, or so we think. There's nothing to complain about the TV's design at all, it's simple, it's neat. Before going over the TV's picture and sound quality, let's take a look at it's extra features.
The Connect Share Movie, to start off with is something that we're seeing in a lot of recent tellies. The feature lets you enjoy videos and photos from your digital equipment in the bring screen. A cricket game video of ours captured recently seemed stunning in the 32" screens, looks like the TV can show any video in good light.
The Samsung LE32C530 LCD TV also comes with Anynet+ giving you easy access to compatible Samsung audio and video devices. Coming to the pictures, the LE32C530 delivers, no surprise. Sporting a 1920 x 1080p resolution and a ‘high' contrast ratio, this Samsung LCD TV passed our picture quality test with high grades. But for black levels, the grades are only average. On-screen characters appear to have eyes set in deep black pits, an effect that reduces only after a lot of control tweaks.
But colours are lustrous, their natural quality intact. The full HD 1080p LCD TV comes with 3 HDMIs – we just wish there was one more. Most of the 32 inchers of the current times come with 4 HDMIs, we just can't understand why Samsung drew the line at 3. The TV's game mode is an aspect worth a lot of praise. Indeed, the LE32C530 will make for an excellent comrade for a gamer.
The Internet@TV is included, but if you ask me, limited access to the internet is as good as no access at all. And sonically, the LE32C530 is decent, though not brilliant. Fast moving pictures are seamless, just as it will be with any Samsung LCD TV.
Verdict:
If you're looking for a decent LCD TV that's reliable, proficient and more than anything, affordable, the Samsung LE32C530 is the one to go in for. It definitely is a safe bet.
