When I first heard of the brand new LED TV
from Samsung – the UE55C6505, all I could do was smile. For, I knew this one would definitely out perform it's previous tellies, setting the bar even higher. So, here I am describing it in detail for you to decide if you want it. But we advice that you set aside a good £2,000 – this one here costs nearly as much. The
Samsung UE55C6505 55” LED TV is a design masterpiece. It's nothing new in Samsung's standards – the crystal neck, the glassy border, the jet black bezel with sharp angles are all in place. The overall effect, as usual is that of class.
The
Samsung UE55C6505 Full-HD LED TV boasts all fireworks such as Wide Colour Enhancer plus, 100Hz Motion Plus and HyperReal picture engine. Simply going through the spec sheet could make you swoon – there just is so much! Well, we're not complaining. There's Anynet+, so you can use the remote that comes along with the TV for all your Samsung AV devices. The
Internet@TV feature that gives you access to a range of online services is there as well. Allshare is an interesting new addition, using which it's possible to transfer content from your mobile phone or PC to your TV wirelessly.
Pictures-wise, the UE55C6505 is a star – blacks are alluring and deep. In fact, this 55 incher has better black levels than a few of Samsung's previous LED TVs – but of course, anything, when watched in the 55” screens of this telly tends to look magnificent, irrespective of whether it's HD or SD. But HD movies take this
Samsung LED TV to a whole new level – after a few hours of movie time with this TV, you're bound to want to make it your's no matter what. (At least I did!)
Verdict:
The Samsung UE55C6505 does not give any room for us to complain. It's perfect in its own way.
