May 24, 2007

Samsung LN T375HSamsung LN-T375H LCD TV has a shiny, black frame and other good-looking features. This 37 inches LCD weighs about 44.3 lbs and makes one of the slimmest LCD available in the LCD market. One of the outstanding features of this model is its dynamic contrast ratio of 8000:1 which makes it to have an edge over other LCD TVs. What is most striking is this TV is truly compatible with full HDTV resolution of 1080p and enriches your HDTV viewing experience. Main features:

  • 37” Screen size
  • Native resolution 1982X1080 pixels
  • Aspect ratio 16:9
  • Dynamic contrast ratio 6000:1
  • Viewing angle 178 degrees
  • Response time 8 ms
  • CCFL backlight
  • Integrated ATSC tuner

The Wide Color Gamut CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) is one of the unique technologies of Samsung which provides a wide range of colours with great accuracy. The backlight source, reproduction of colours and the enhancement of viewing angles make this TV truly outstanding. Its inbuilt 10-bit video processor can form 12.8 billion colours on the screen. which provides a wide range of colours with great accuracy. All the LCD TVS that come in the LN series use The Super Patterned Vertical Alignment technology (SPVA) which improves the viewing angles (up to 178 degrees) so you can view the TV at any angle from off-axis. This makes the picture quality by this TV is quite amazing with a wide range of colours and brilliant lighting. Like its larger version (52”), we see the response time has been greatly improved to 8 ms and this implies that you can watch the fast movements on the screen without any trailing. On the smaller screen of 37”, you find the fast movements are significantly better and you are more likely to favour this TV for viewing DVD movies. The dynamic contrast ratio is 8000:1, significantly better than any other LCD of this category. This ensures excellent black levels on the screen. The darker scenes look more detailed and the better brightness and contrast features give greater depth to the picture. This model also features Digital Natural Image Engine (DNIe). This feature enables the TV to display life-like images with better details and improved contrast between different parts shown on the screen. This TV has PAP (Picture and Picture) feature so two video sources can be used simultaneously. However, you cannot do so in case of TV channels as this unit does not have two tuners to display both the channels on the screen. The new game mode in this unit will enrich your viewing experience with its great picture quality, quicker response time and improved sound features. The input options are quite awe-some as there are 2 HDMI inputs for HDTV signals and the same can be used to connect HD recorders like digital VCRs. You can also connect your PC to this TV with the help of 15 pin D-sub provided in this TV. There is also a USB port so you can connect USB devices to this unit. Overall, we can say this LCD is ideal for both TV viewing and computer display.
