Samsung LE46B651 HD-Ready LCD TV is efficiently packed with everything sufficient to elicit that becharmed 'Ah!' from the viewer. This LCD TV has a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and the dynamic contrast ratio is quoted to be 'Ultra'. With performance, the LE46B651 sails through smoothly. Sharpness, clarity and body remain constant throughout, but to varying degrees. For example, if you tended to try a movie like Batman where darkness prevails all through the movie, and compared it with the rendition of something like say, Mama Mia where subtlety of colours is predominant, it'll occur that that the LE46B651 renders the darker shades with more confidence.
Our experience of Mama Mia in the screens of this LCD TV was a wee bit lackadaisical. In the connectivity aspect, the Samsung LE46B651 does not have anything to complain about – 4 HDMIs, a PC input and USB 2.0 Movie are all in place. The TV could however do a little better with audio. High pitch tracks and even voices with a higher pitch than usual tend to sound pretty ill-defined.
