Samsung LE37B650 37” LCD TV up close. So, are we going to fall for this TV too? Well yes, at least on first look. The TV has a beautifully curved bottom edge that gives it a refreshing look – the transparent neck and the translucent outline taking design further.
The LE37B650 is provided with just the right amount of features and picture enhancement techniques to make the viewer go “Ah!” The TV is DLNA certified, meaning you can share digital content to the TV wirelessly. LCD Televisions UK ably handles motion, all credits to 100Hz Motion Plus. Black levels are luscious and rich – but one can't say that the LE37B650 renders drop dead gorgeous black levels. You can catch sight of grey patches on certain areas of deep black backgrounds – but the best thing is it doesn't stand out after a few tweaks of the controls.
This LCD TV has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and has a SRS Trusurround HD and Dolby Digital Plus sound effect system. Audio however, isn't all that good. We must admit that we got a little disappointed with the overall audio performance of this 37 incher. Connectivity is decent – there are 4 HDMIs, a D-sub port and an RF input, to name a few.
Verdict
At the end of the day, the LE37B650 did manage to impress us. So, it's true then, Samsung is trustworthy.
