This HD Ready LCD TV comes with IDTV and has a CCFL backlight. The panel of the LE23R86 is not 100Hz, so fast paced scenes lack smoothness and finesse. But for a small-screen TV, the LE23R86 does handle motion in the best possible way. Black levels are decent enough, which is not the case with the audio. But the LCD TV scores very well in the connectivity front with 2 HDMIs and a D-sub port taking the lead. For the price and the given size, the Samsung LE23R86 LCD TV squarely out-performs most of its peers.
