November 9, 2009

snow-scene-lcdtvreviews.org.ukThe snow, the breeze, the cold, the flecks. How magical Christmas can get! Especially when you wake up for a mid night snack and stop at the kitchen window, only to be entranced by the snow-covered world outside. How would it be to capture the exact pristine whiteness in your kitchen TV? Well, if you intend to do that, then look no further. The Samsung LE19B541 19″ LCD TV is here. Bid adieu to the same old black glossiness and be refreshed by the LCD TV’s smooth white finish. There even is a reddish tinge that runs along the bottom edge of the frame, that gives the TV a well-deserved touch of class.

samsung-le19b541-lcdtvreviews.org.ukThis 19″ LCD TV from Samsung has a display resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels with a ‘High’ dynamic contrast ratio as quoted by Samsung. Being a small screen TV, the LE19B541 mightily surprises us with the picture quality that it has to offer. Sporting Samsung’s Wide Colour Enhancer 2 technology, colours look pleasing and fresh, with their natural tones intact, especially the reds. The presence of a Digital tuner for Freeview is supposed to the TV’s high light and Samsung carries it off quite well. For the quality of Freeview is extremely good, not to mention the deep black levels. Though not perfect in this aspect, this Samsung LCD TV is way better than most of it’s counterparts of the same size.

The LE19B541 has an HDMI port and a D-sub port is also there to earn it high respect in the connectivity aspect. The telly sports a SRS Trusurround HD & Dolby Digital Plus sound effect system with Down Firing Speakers. But then, audio it where the TV disappoints us very much, for in a noisy kitchen, the sound tends to get engulfed, sounding tinny. On a winding up note, the Samsung LE19B541 LCD TV is way too good for the cost, and could make a lovely Christmas present.
