With Pioneer's Plasmas forcing blinkers around our eyes to see nothing but the good in its
LCD TV line ups, it really is hard to see anything negative about the
Pioneer Kuro KRL-46V 46” LCD TV. As far as looks go, this TV has a voguish brushed aluminum finish. It is hard to not admire the slick design on first look. Fast moving action will always be an experience when watched in the screens of this TV, for it has 100 Hz processing and a 4ms response time. Blacks look deep and the colours look equally vivid and attractive. This TV has a 176° viewing angle and features Pioneer's renowned Advanced PureCinema technology.
The display resolution of the
Pioneer Kuro KRL-46V HD Ready LCD TV is about 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and it's dynamic contrast ratio is quoted to be 10,000:1. It measures about 1,101 x 698 x 96mm (W x H x D) and is equipped with KURO LINK. Further, it has a high contrast filter that renders images with perfect contrast and detail. On the negative side, the Kuro KRL-46V has only 3 HDMIs and weighs a heavy 25.5kg, when most LCD TVs of today weigh much less.
Audio of this LCD TV is much above average, vocals sound natural and pleasing. The total audio output of the Kuro KRL-46V is about 30W, and it has integrated under-mount speakers. Other significant features of this
Pioneer LCD TV include Auto Channel Search tuner, Teletext tuner, Advanced Super View and Electronic Program Guide. This Kuro is expensive(which is not a suprise!) and has appreciable picture and sound quality. But somehow, the price is not justified. Pioneer buffs – no one's stopping you!
