Philips for the first time, the Ambilight simply spell-bound me. But the more I got to see it, it kind of bored me a wee bit, to be honest.
It's motion handling with which the 42PFL8404H/12 tends to squarely impress. The panel being a 100 Hz one, it's no surprise that fast-paced scenes are rendered with finesse. Verdict:
The Philips 42PFL8404H/12 LCD TV is one dandy TV alright. It scores high in all key areas such as pictures, colours, audio and connectivity. But the sad part is, not all will be able to afford this svelte star.
