This TV looks smart and elegant; and manages to look glossy without looking gaudy. There's also a tinge of indigo along the sides, that gives this TV an inherent touch of class.
The LG 42LH5000 HD-Ready LCD TV has a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and LG claims it to have a contrast ratio of 80,000:1. Intelligent Sensor 2 of this TV gives you a hand at saving power, as this sensor senses light levels of the outward environment and accordingly optimises the picture. The Full HD resolution along with LG's XD Engine video processing system renders brilliant images with exceptional colour levels and contrast.
Connectivity is fine indeed, what with 4 HDMI inputs and a USB 2.0 port compatible with JPEG, MP3 and DivX HD files. One cannot help but praise the TruMotion 200Hz engine again for, HD pictures in the 42” screen of the 42LH5000 has to be seen to be believed. With minimal judders and maximal crispness, HD is this TV is dandy indeed! Pictures of a standard definition are not compromised too. But hey, nobody is perfect. Not even the LG 42LH5000 with TruMotion 200Hz engine- black level response can be bettered. It doesn't lack in audio either; the total audio output from the speakers is about 20W. Style, quality pictures and sound, sums up the LG 42LH5000 LCD TV. It's not perfect, but not imperfect either!
