LG 47LH3000 LCD TV

lg-47lh3000-lcdtvreviews.org.ukThe LG 47LH3000 47” LCD TV is a mix of all things good. For all of you who are of the opinion that LG is second to none, this TV will definitely be reason enough to trumpet the same with pride. Though not a big fan of LG, the 47LH3000 did give me enough ground to become one. (Not that I did, though.) This LG LCD TV is one heck of a good looker. The bluish tinge that I rather grew fond of is not there, and this time its a silvery band along the bottom edge of the frame which along with the smooth black finish does a lot to the aesthetics of the TV. Picture quality of the LG 47LH3000 HD-Ready LCD TV is neat and crisp – we didn't face any major issues as such. Motion however, can do with a bit of enhancement. Jackie's lightning-speed clouts in Rush Hour 3 looked a bit pixilated at the edges. Freeview quality of this telly is most appreciable, so is the quality of DVD movies. Audio from the invisible speakers sounded muffled at times with subtle background scores sounding nearly pathetic. This 47” TV has a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a quoted contrast ratio of 50,000:1. Quality of standard definition in the screens of the 47LH3000 is much better then HD, so seamless it is. Connectivity is acceptable, there is an ample 3 HDMIs along with a USB port. But we cannot help but complain when names like Toshiba offer 4 HDMIs in their 47 models. At £624, the LG 47LH3000 is of course cheaper when compared to the big screen models of Toshiba, Sony and Philips. This telly looks good, does well and is pretty cheap for the size. In other words, it has everything that one would expect of a flat-screen TV.
