The LG 37SL8000 HD Ready LCD TV fares well in the audio front too, it must be added that certain voices sound a little scratchy on careful observation. The neck looks elegant, with an air of finesse. TruMotion 200Hz is one of its highlights, ’superior natural picture’ is what LG claims this feature to be able to achieve and it’s true. Spidey’s every move as he swings across the concrete jungle is captured with astonishing detail. That’s when you realise that this TV is perfect for action movies and sport.
Connectivity is a decent affair, with 4 HDMIs and a USB 2.0 slot talking in its favour. Bluetooth is an interesting addition, for it lets you transfer the content from your mobile phone into your TV and also enjoy your favourite shows cocooned in your own world with the help of a Bluetooth wireless headset. This ultra-slim TV is Eco friendly too, for it’s recommended by the Energy Savings Trust. A one of kind TV I should say, with above average performance for an affordable price.
