LG 32SL8000 LCD TV
First and foremost, before we start off with the AV quality, resolution, contrast and other workaday stuff, it must be said that the LG 32SL8000 32″ LCD TV squarely impresses us with the horde of extra features it has to offer. Bluetooth is easily an all-time favourite, for an LCD TV with Bluetooth connectivity is definitely more interesting than you can imagine. For you can transfer music, photos and videos from your mobile phone and also enjoy your favourite programmes using a wireless headset. The Picture Wizard is worth praising too, for it leads you to easily tweak contrast, brightness and what not and get the best of the picture.
The LG 32SL8000 HD Ready LCD TV has a USB port that is capable of Div X HD Playback, apart from JPEG and MP3. Intelligent Sensor is another value addition, which automatically adjusts the TV’s pictures to suit the lighting conditions and according to LG, it can reduce the power consumption to up to 62%. Moving on to the pictures, the 32SL8000 has a Full HD resolution and a huge contrast ratio of 150,000:1. 24p Real Cinema feature and the 200Hz engine make sure that movie watching in the 32″ screens of this telly is one experience to be seen to be believed. Car chases are amazing to watch in the 32SL8000, giving you the feel of actually being there. Black levels are appreciable too.
The spine-chilling scene in I am Legend when Will Smith goes looking for his dog Sam in the dark recesses of a dilapidated building was rendered brilliantly. My, the shadows and the dark corners were superbly detailed. Freeview quality is good enough and audio from the 10W speakers is average. There are 4 HDMI inputs, which equips the TV well in the connectivity aspect along with the super-cool USB port. The design, there’s just one word for it - elegant. ‘Frameless’ is what they call it and seamless it is. This 32 incher from LG does not disappoint you in any aspect and even deserves to be highly recommended.

I have to say that I enjoyed this review.
In fact, it was so good that it made me want to buy not only this great LG TV but also a DVD of the film too!!
