LG 19LG3000 LCD TV is one of the latest introductions from LG that displays images on a 19” LCD screen of resolution 1440 x 900 pixels. The TV has dimensions of 34.45 x 45.83 x 6.9cm and weighs about 4.76kg. Its display format is 1080p and the display rate is 24 frames per second.
The display has a brightness of 380cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 15000:1. It scans pictures at a frequency of 50Hz and a response time of 5ms. Progressive scan feature of this TV generates picture in a single pass as in a computer screen. It supports picture formats such as 480i/p, 576i/p, 720p and 1080i/p. The TV can be viewed from maximum horizontal and vertical angles of 170° and 160° respectively.
HD Ready 1080p is supported, whereby the TV displays high resolution images. The TV comes with stereo sound system, whereby it creates more realistic and richer sound experience. Two in built speakers are provided in the TV with a power output of 3 watts each. It also supports virtual surround. This LCD TV can be used as a PC monitor as it provides PC interface. Colour temperature control options available are warm, medium and cool.
The TV comes with SECAM-D, SECAM-B, SECAM-K, PAL-B, SECAM-G, PAL-G, PAL-I, PAL-D, SECAM-L and PAL-K reception system. NICAM is the supported stereo reception system. Analogue TV Tuner receives PAL and SECAM signals. There is a DVB-T digital tuner that allows you to view freeview channels. It also offers Teletext services with a memory of 1000 pages. An electronic program guide is included in the TV.

A common interface slot is also provided. MPEG 2 decoder is included in the TV.
The accessory included with the TV is the infrared remote control. Parental Channel lock, on-screen menu, 3:2 pull down compensation, 2:2 pull down compensation and channel labelling are other features provided in the TV. It has a built in tabletop stand as well. The TV works on 120/230 V 50/60 Hz voltage supply and consumes a power of 56 Watt during operation, while it consumes 1Watt in standby mode.
