If there can be anything better than the
Samsung UE37B6000 37” LED TV, its the Philips 56PFL9954H LCD TV. But the 56PFL9954H costs (gulp!) almost £4,000 and is more of a dream to the average buyer like me. But hey, I'm in no way drawing a comparison between the two. The 56PFL9954H is way too good to be compared to any of the present time tellies. But the UE37B6000 is so good in terms of pictures and design that one can't help but be thankful that there's a masterpiece in one's reach. Alright then, lets drop all the excessive extolment and go straight into this
LED TV details, shall we?
To begin with the looks, the UE37B6000 is bestowed with a red-tinged bezel that coupled with the ultra-thin build looks like something from the future. The crystal neck and the sturdy, yet svelte stand further accentuate Samsung's design prowess. The
Samsung UE37B6000 Full HD LED TV quotes a “Mega Contrast Ratio” and sports the 100Hz Motion Plus feature. We tried a Blu-Ray movie, an old classic and found that action-filled sequences were far better than many LCD TVs we happened to come across.
Samsung's Wide Colour Enhancer Pro ensures that colours are most vibrant and full, not lacking in body one bit.
The UE37B6000 does not give us even the tiniest space to complain! Connectivity is top-notch – need it be mentioned that our most-wanted 4
HDMI and the USB ports are all in place, challenging us to find fault. And black levels are miles better than Samsung's very own LCD TVs themselves. Even the sharpest of pictures can appear rather lackadaisical with shallow black levels – we've seen that a lot of times. The way the UE37B6000 draws our attention towards even the subtlest areas of the picture, giving them more flavour is appreciable as well. There's just one word to sum up the Samsung UE37B6000 LED TV: Brilliant.
