Sharp LCD LC46D62U The AQUOS LC-46D62U LCD TV is a 46” wide screen LCD TV from the leading LCD makers SHARP. This full High Definition LCD TV has black TFT panel which can support a native 2000:1 contrast ratio and a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1. Its Multi-Pixel Technology enhances viewing angles by processing each pixel with its two-way colouring and by producing 60 % more true-to-life colours. Its four-wavelength backlight system provides high brightness of 450 cd/m². With it, there is also an automatic feature that adjusts the brightness level depending on the ambient conditions.

The high resolution (1080p) of this TV renders greater sharpness and more details to the pictures. With the excellent black levels achieved by this unit thanks to its Enhanced Picture Contrast Technology, the pictures look crisp, vivid and unbelievably realistic.

With the two HDMI inputs and two HD composite video inputs available with this unit, you can view any range of HDTV material either from DVD or HDTV channels. This TV offers six picture presetting options to the viewers like standard, dynamic, dynamic (fixed), game, Movie, and PC. Similarly the colour temperature can be altered by using five presets provided in this unit.

Among the four aspect ratios available with this TV, it is wise to go by dot-by-dot mode when you view any HDTV material although you can view non-HDTV sources using other aspect ratios. You can access Digital TV and analogue TV channels as this unit provides you with in-built ATSC, QAM and NTSC.

While the four wave backlight system and its efficient backlight control are impressive, this TV also has an automatic feature that can adjust the light source depending on the room light conditions. There is also a 2:3 pull down feature which enables the fast moving images look realistic and removes any motion lag.
