Viewsonic has launched two new LCD displays, the 19” VX1932wm-LED and the 17” VA705b. The VA705b has a resolution of 1280×1024p and a quoted contrast ratio of 1000:1. It’s eco-friendly, promising to consume just 21w of power and complies with the standards of ENERGY STAR and TCO’03. This 17” LCD display comes with a D-sub port and has a 5ms response time and a 250cd/m2 of brightness level.
The Viewsonic VX1932wm-LED is a stylish display with a WLED backlight system that can automatically control its brightness levels as per the content on the screen, thus resulting in deeper blacks and brighter whites. The dynamic contrast ratio quoted is a high 10,000,000:1 and the resolution is about 1440×900p. The VX1932wm-LED apparently saves 50% energy of power and is ENERGY STAR 5.0 and MPR II qualified. Both of these LCD monitors are Windows Vista certified.
