A new look super slim LCD TV, JVC LT-42WX70 LCD TV has been launched by JVC with an Energy Star 3.0 tag, supposedly to list it under the eco-friendly machines. The manufacturer boasts that the device has been specifically designed to appeal to ardent home cinema viewers, custom installers and digital SLR camera users, with its comprehensive colour managing system. The system is all about promptly reproducing the texture and detail, apart from the colour of high resolution pictures.
The LT-42WX70 is a 42” LCD TV that comes with a Full HD screen adorned by a new technology called super wide colour space technology. This technology that compliments the 1080p full HD monitor is all about a colour space capacity that is expanded to cover 100 percent of the broadcasting colour space of the HDTV, apart from 96 percent of Adobe RGB to ensure optimal reproduction of still photos and video.
The LT-42 WX70, with a view to materialise the optimal calibration of anything from tint and colour to gamma and more, has featured 52 image quality adjustment standards. The latest Dynapix High Definition Picture Engine of JVC has already proved its capability of polishing moving pictures to within an inch of their lives. The company also boasts that the remote control of the device can be engaged to even adjust the skin tone in the images.
The weight of the 43mm thick LCD TV without the stand is 12.5 kg, and its black-leather-like texture that encompasses the bezel apparently helps in glare reduction. Metallic silver is the rear-panel colour. Along the bottom of the panel runs a stereo speaker that is detachable, and the connections of the device refer to three HDMI ports and a 15pin D-Sub, apart from component video and audio input jack.
