It looks like Samsung could rule LED TV market. Figures suggest that the Korean electronics giant enjoyed unprecedented sales of LED TVs, selling more than 500,000 units from it’s launch across the world. Samsung could possibly be selling more than 3 units per minute. This suggests that Samsung sold more than double the number of all brands of LED TVs sold around the world in 2008. Sales of Samsung LED TVs have enjoyed steady growth from the time they were launched. 200,000 of them were sold in just six weeks.
Samsung LED TVs seem to have been sold the most in the European market(including the UK, Germany and France) where sales figures stand at 210,000. Analysts have projected that the this year’s demand for LED TVs would stand at 3.67 million, a figure that seems to be influenced by the demand for Samsung LED TVs.
The future for Samsung LED TVs looks as bright as ever, could this make Samsung a world leader in LED TVs? Possibly.
