samsung-lcd-tv-lcdtvreviews.org.ukKorean electronics giant Samsung is firing on all cylinders. Having proven that the sales of their LCD and LED TVs are unswayed by the worst of economic climates, Samsung has yet again substantiated this. They have recorded sales of 4.09 LCD TV sets for October this year and have also made head way in to the eighth generation LCD panel production lines. So far this year, Samsung has sold almost 30 million LCD TV displays, which can be attributed to technological innovations and increased investments in new production lines.

Samsung also held the first position in the sales of LCD TVs in the first half of this year according to market researcher Display Search. Slumps in sales in the beginning of the year did not deter the burly giant, for not only did they recover with their wings spread wide, they also topped the market. Market experts predict that Samsung could sell 40 million sets by the end of this year.

With figures such as these, Samsung’s aims of selling 1million LED TVs by this year and 10 million by 2010 look more attainable than ever.
