Fugitive uses television for taunting police

Craig “Lazie” LynchA prisoner on the run is using television to send taunting messages to the police. Craig “Lazie” Lynch, an escaped prisoner from Hollesley Bay Prison, Suffolk has sent a taunting message to police through an interview on national television. In a telephonic interview with Channel Five News, Lynch said, “They (police) are not going to catch me; I’m not going to give them the joy of that.” Lynch was convicted for aggravated burglary and was almost at the end of his seven year jail term.

When asked why he was giving the police a tough time, he said that he should not have been convicted in the first place. “I’m not a bad guy” he said. “I’m a likeable person.”  The 28-year-old convict has been on the run since September 23 and has also been taunting the police through Facebook and supposedly has 12,045 fans. In his recent post he urged his fans to watch his interview.

The felon has also reportedly posted information on parties he intends to attend and also on how he enjoyed living in his warm house on steak dinners. Recent reports suggest that police officers are working with Facebook officials to apprehend Lynch.
