Bluetooth magic for hard-of-hearing

0

bluetooth-hearing-aid-lcdtvreviews.org.ukTV viewers with hearing difficulties can now bid good bye to raising eyebrows of fellow viewers when turning up the volume to the maximum. All thanks to a hearing aid that uses Bluetooth wireless technology, users can experience the comfort of having their own personal volume control. The technology used is the same as that of mobile phone hands-free headsets. All what users have to do is enable Bluetooth in their compatible TVs and don the hearing aid to enjoy television with the volume they prefer, the changes of which only they can hear, without having to disrupt the viewing experience of others.

This Bluetooth enabled hearing aid is also compatible with mobile phones and landline phones, letting people with hearing difficulties answer phones hands-free. The device is now available from leading UK opticians, Specsavers with prices starting at £1,594. According to a report from The Sun, 62-year-old actress Stephanie Beacham said that she was elated to find out about this technology that let her hear after spending most of her life “silent on one side”.
