Hitachi’s high end LCD TVs render unparallel picture quality combined with an elegant, compact design. The Hitachi 37LD8700 LCD TV, which comes in the line-up of 37” LCD series is a slim, good-looking TV which can be installed anywhere in your house due to its beautiful, stunning design. The metallic base of this 37” LCD TV and the speakers fitted below the screen make it look well-proportionate and reminds us of 37LD9700 LCD TV which we have reviewed earlier. You are provided with a wall mount which has a motorized stand and you can make the TV rotate with the help of a remote control. Main features:

The PICTURE MASTER HD Technology used in Hitachi LCD TV is one of the unique features of Hitach LCD TVs. It combines two processes to ensure excellent picture quality of the display. Its new 1080 Progressive Processing system enhances the incoming signals by analyzing them pixel by pixel. After scaling up the signals to HDTV quality, the Super Dynamic Contrast system of this TV examines images and enhances the black levels to give depth and more details to the objects displayed in dark scenes. The analogue tuner enables you to choose 100 programs and the digital tuner which is provided in this TV enables you to enjoy a number of video formats available in home videos and TV broadcasts. The image settings provided in this TV enable you to adjust brightness, colour and contrast. In addition, you find it easy to change the backlight settings, colour temperature settings and noise reduction features to suit your taste. Like Hitachi37LD9700 LCD TV, this unit also has many input options to offer. There are two HDMI sockets or ports on the back, but you will find only two SCARTS sockets. If you want this display to be connected to your PC, you can use the 15 pin socket provided on the back panel. Moreover, this unit has a SD card slot which can be used to view images like photos and a USB slot to download pictures from your mobile or digital camera. Both SD card and USB are placed on the side panel. Smaller viewing angles have been an issue of dispute whenever a LCD comes into the picture. The advancement in technology like SVAP has often made such an argument invalid. Especially this LCD TV provides the most possible widest viewing angle as claimed by the manufacturers themselves. The end result is a good off-axis viewing from any angle in the room where this LCD is placed. The sound adjustments can also be done by changing the sound settings to SRS 3D mode. There is also an automatic adjustment feature that enables your TV to change the volume of sound when you switch over to different channels.

Perfect design that everyone will be attracted. 32″ Screen Size gives the images crystal clear and seems to be realistic. No problem whatsoever.
Hi, I am pleased with all its features, looking out for a good LCD TV, and then my wife suggests me to buy this Hitachi 32LD8700 LCD TV. Very luxurious features and slim to look at. Being a flat screen it does look more stylish than my old one, and it has a gorgeous black frame to it. So I have fallen in love with it and bought one, a next day.
Last week I just came across some ads and reviews about the LCD’s. I was in dilemma to choose either Samsung or Hitachi. Finally I preferred this, because I found HD ready in this model. Are you aware of HD ready? It gives you a crisper clear picture compared to other regular television. Bought one than I expected. Good.
It’s a nice bit of kit, very easy to use and has excellent sound, picture quality and the price was absolutely right. So far no complaints! Recommended strongly to use.
