The PICTURE MASTER HD Technology used in Hitachi LCD TV is one of the unique features of Hitach LCD TVs. It combines two processes to ensure excellent picture quality of the display. Its new 1080 Progressive Processing system enhances the incoming signals by analyzing them pixel by pixel. After scaling up the signals to HDTV quality, the Super Dynamic Contrast system of this TV examines images and enhances the black levels to give depth and more details to the objects displayed in dark scenes. The analogue tuner enables you to choose 100 programs and the digital tuner which is provided in this TV enables you to enjoy a number of video formats available in home videos and TV broadcasts. The image settings provided in this TV enable you to adjust brightness, colour and contrast. In addition, you find it easy to change the backlight settings, colour temperature settings and noise reduction features to suit your taste. Like Hitachi37LD9700 LCD TV, this unit also has many input options to offer. There are two HDMI sockets or ports on the back, but you will find only two SCARTS sockets. If you want this display to be connected to your PC, you can use the 15 pin socket provided on the back panel.
