Take a trip to Japan this Christmas to bring home the Hello Kitty LCD TV

hello kitty lcd tv Take a trip to Japan this Christmas to bring home the Hello Kitty LCD TV Bored to death with the world around you doling out cash in exchange for ineffective so called ‘tokens of love’ that are bound to go bust before you can say “Merry Christmas”?  Then why not take a trip to Japan for a change and spend £347 on a Hello Kitty LCD TV? Wait! Before you narrow your eyes and go ‘ugh’, let me tell you that this TV isn’t so bad, is likeable even by an ardent Hello Kitty hater. For one, this 13.3 inch TV is devoid of even the slightest traces of pink madness and the result is a refreshing white kitty-faced design with a trade-mark red bow and whiskers.

The Hello Kitty 13.3 inch LCD TV looks so much like the real thing staring at us from behind the whiskers and could make a baby bawl with fright. But for a little girl whose room is ‘decorated’ with pink posters of this supposedly cute kitty, this TV will definitely be the ultimate dream come true. The TV has an LED-backlit panel and comes with a 1280×800 pixel display resolution. It has a contrast ratio of 500:1 and a 16ms response time.

Surprisingly, there hasn’t been that many Hello Kitty TVs in the market and this one here was announced just yesterday and  will be available in Japan from December 24th onwards. Dynaconnective, a Japanese company is the one that introduced this feline telly. This LCD TV has a quoted brightness level of 275cd/m2 and has two 3W speakers that form the feet-cum stand for the kitty. The TV’s remote which is shaped like a red bow looks rather nice. The “kitty button” when pressed can display the visage of a kitty – let’s give it to them: the effect is cute.
