This model features the XD image enhancement technology which delivers true-to-life images on any standard video signals making them look like HDTV signals.

Pros
This model has one of the best high resolution LCD panels available in the market with a decent response time (8 ms). The XD chip comes into its own with external HDTV and DVD sources connected through HDMI. Also, with inbuilt support for 720p and 1080i formats, games on consoles like the Xbox look amazingly true-to-life with no noticeable blur or ghosting.
Cons
The response time of 8 ms sometimes leads to blurring in extremely fast action sequences. The other problem with the display is the poor reproduction of black. This becomes evident in darker scenes which look dull and flat.
