Sony unveil their new 3D LCD TV – The Bravia KDL-60LX903

January 18, 2010

sony-lcdtvreviews.org.ukSony has introduced a new 3D TV with an LED backlight system – the 60” KDL-60LX903. The backlight is edge lit and the TV features an advanced 200Hz engine and Bravia Engine 3 picture processing. Sony’s Intelligent Presence Sensor that we saw in the WE5 Eco-TV series is present in this LCD TV. This advanced sensor can detect the presence of a human being in the room by sensing their body heat and can automatically switch off the TV in case it detects that there is nobody watching.

But it’s the 3D experience we are interested in and the KDL-60LX903 promises a lot in that aspect. The users get to enjoy 3D in full HD, but Active shutter glasses are to be worn for the experience. The TV comes with a glossy black finish and is well-connected with an ample 4 HDMIs. Sony has also given this TV some interesting widgets to choose from, like those that give you access to YouTube, eBay, Twitter, etc. Furthermore, the Sony KDL-60LX903 is Freeview HD Ready and will reportedly hit the stores this year. We do not have any information on the pricing as yet, but we’re pretty sure that it’ll cost a bomb.
