The home page take over of the video sharing website owned by Google by Sony comes as the part of its promotion campaign for its latest range of Sony Bravia LCD televisions.

Sony’s You Tube take over would take over three terms that would coincide with the Champions League Games, which fall until the end of May, starting from the first of April. The take over that predominantly targets an entertainment and footaball oriented audience would run across France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Russia, Poland, Sweden and Holland apart from the UK.

The centre-stage of the Bravia campaign will be adorned by the Bravia-drome designed with a view to demonstrate Sony’s MotionFlow technology. This technology, according to Sony would stand to nullify the jerkiness that is sometimes experienced on the standard televisions.

Moreover, Sony is also preparing to emerge the first business to take over the digital escalator panels (DEPs) of London’s Waterloo. This take over will be for a couple of weeks starting from April 27th. To recreate the looks of the Bravia-drome, the escalators would be wrapped accordingly, with Sony’s TV advertisement content featuring Kaka, the Brazilian football star on the DEPs. The TV ad is expected to be launched on April 6th.
