Acer’s is the S243HLbmii Slim which is basically an LCD monitor with white LED backlight. The monitor has a full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and quotes a contrast ratio of 1000:1. It looks rather stylish with the silver-grey stand. The S243HLbmii Slim’s other specifications include a brightness of  250cd/m2 and a 160/170-degree viewing angle. It is capable of displaying  16.7 million colours, sports two HDMI ports and has a 2ms response time.

Albatron’s LCD monitor, on the other hand also has a Full HD resolution and is multi-touch-capable. Apart from its multi-touch functionality, the main highlight of Albatron’s LCD monitor is its support for Windows 7 operating system. It also quotes a similar contrast ratio of that of Acer’s, 1000:1 and has a 9ms response time along with a 16:9 aspect ratio. This Optical Touch Monitor is well equipped in the connectivity front with USB, HDMI, D-Sub video and  RS232C ports. While Acer’s S243HLbmii costs about 33,000 Yen, (equivalent of 220 GBP), the cost of Albatron’s OTM is just quoted as ‘reasonable’.
