Mammoth HD display gets Dallas Cowboy stadium into the Guinness book of records
Records and The Dallas Cowboys appear to be perpetually juxtaposed. The American football team is yet again brushed by the sweet taste of record as a gigantic display in their new stadium gets into the record books. Touted to be the world’s largest HD display, the screen is equivalent to 3,268 52” TVs. It has a mind-boggling 10,584,064 LED lights backing it up. The display has been given a screen space of 11,393 square-feet in the stadium.
This jumbo screen was created for the stadium by Mitsubishi’s Diamond Vision System and measures 160 by 72 feet. It has a 1,088 X 2,432 pixel resolution that is equivalent to 1080p and is designed using ‘Dynamic Pixel’ technology. Owner of the Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones expressed his pride for the ‘world-class’ screen and said that the massive screen was the centerpiece in the design of the Cowboys Stadium that was done to provide that ‘unequalled experience’ for their fans.
Located in Arlington, Texas, the Cowboys stadium is the largest domed stadium in the world.
