LG Announces extensive monitors range
LG Electronics has announced a good set of monitors ranging from LED monitors to gaming and PC monitors. Let’s start with the LED monitors namely the W86 series. These monitors are stylish and svelte, and have that distinctive ‘LG’ flavouring in them. The controls of these monitors are touch-sensitive and they have a resolution of about 1680 x 1050 pixels. Furthermore, they feature a good 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio along with a 2ms response time. Available in 22 and 24 inch versions, the W86 series has two HDMI ports and present an aspect ratio of 16:10.
These slim LED monitors also have auto-brightness controls. There is also a timer prompting you for an eye break! Pictures are expected to be sharp and detailed. There is no information regarding the price of these monitors, though. LG has also introduced W30, W2363V and M62D along with the W86 series.
The M62D is a series of combined TV and PC monitors and can be wall mounted. The W2363V series is strictly for gamers with a full HD resolution. Finally, the W30 series is a colourful range that comes in 19 and 22 inch sizes with a 30,000:1 dynamic fine contrast ratio. They are to be released later this month and come in blueberry, jelly pink, Hawaiian, oreo and applemint.
