Television channels to wish Jacko who would have turned 51 today

Jacko-lcdtvreviews.org.ukKing of Pop would have turned 51 today. For his fans who probably will take a long time to get over his death, today will be yet another day of nostalgia and commemoration.

Today, the 29th of August is to be declared as Michael Jackson Day in Brooklyn by the president of the borough. Not just that, over 10,000 people are expected to flock the borough to take part in the celebrations instore for Michael’s birthday.

Michael-lcdtvreviews.org.ukTelevision channels have taken the cue and are to air back to back programmes with Michael as the centrerpiece. Tributes to Michael is what predominates most channels, for it appears that most channels have atleast one show planned to pay tribute to the Pop icon.

Shows that play Michael’s masterpieces non-stop, that feature his music videos from “Billie Jean” , “Beat It” and “Black or White,” shows covering Jacko’s entire life story are in the line up. There are also programmes focusing on his death and the mystery surrounding it. Documentaries that showcase Michael’s rise from a lead-singer in a local band to a pop super-star with intermittent clips of his concerts are also scheduled.

Michael is to be buried in a Glendale cemetery in California on September 3rd, according to an announcement from his family.
