2009 Range LCD TVs Announced By Philips
Philips LCD TVs, the Dutch electronics giant has announced a large range of LCD TVs , seemingly making up for its conspicuous absence from the Las Vegas CES that took place early this year. A remarkable line up of fresh panels is expected in Philip’s cards.
The whole range is topped by 9700 series that comes with the bus speeds of 200Hz, in its turn presents three screen sizes; 40”, 46” and 52”. These panels represent the super slim range of Philips that astonishes with dazzling aluminium bezels. Moreover, these models will come with the back up of one of the most advanced picture processing technology, namely Perfect Pixel HD Engine and Ambilight Spectra 3.
9700 series also features the Novel Net TV technology, apart from Wi-Fi connectivity. Another unique technological procedure followed in the designing of this range is the augmented local dimming feature, for which an additional couple of LED segment rows are packed by 9700, along with Perfect Pixel HD Engine.
Ardently follows the 9600 panels that include the 9664 series that in its turn offers two screen sizes; 42” and 47” backed by 200Hz processing speed, and the 100 Hz 9604 series offering a couple of screen sizes as well; 37” and 32”. The significant features found here are; a tremendous contrast ratio of 80,000:1 and 5 x HDMI inputs.
Other ranges are 8000, 7000 and the budget 5000 series, all due to invade the UK market this summer. Pricing and offer information has not yet been disclosed by Philips.
