Yes, it’s the Consumer Electronics Show 2010, this time in the bustling city of Las Vegas. With top electronics giants vying for the spot light, let’s take a look at what sunny Samsung has in store. 3D TVs dominated the CEATEC expo and it’s obvious that the CES 2010 will be no different.
To start with, Samsung has plunged directly into the 3D ocean by announcing a complete 3D home entertainment system. Apart from hot mobile phones, it also has super-thin LED TVs waiting behind the curtains. And there’s more: the Korean electronics giant has unveiled its very own app store rich with movies, games and software as well as flat-screen TVs that come with built-in Blu-ray Disc players.
Samsung’s 3D home entertainment system will include high-definition 3D TVs, a superb audio system which will also be sold separately along with a BD-C6900 Blu-ray Disc player. If stand-alone 3D TVs is what you’re looking to grab a hold of this year, Samsung has that planned out too. In the form of the LED7000 series, Samsung will incorporate 3D capability into their high-end LED TVs. There also is a 750 Series LCD TVs in the line-up. Even regular 2D shows can be watched in 3D in these TVs, as Samsung has included a 3D chip that has auto-conversion technology.
The LED9000 series is yet another entrant for the CES that are amazingly slim at just 7.6mm thick and is presently, Samsung’s slimmest ever LED TV series. Samsung has also announced that it has signed up contracts with Technicolor and Dreamworks Animation to aid in the promotion of 3D content for home entertainment. Sounds exciting, huh?
